for all those waiting on proofs and online galleries - i'm so sorry for the delay but there really is nothing I can do but wait for charter to hook it up. so it goes if you move to the country. we should be up and running by the middle of next week if you have any questions or concerns regarding orders or pending orders, please feel free to email us (since we can check it on our phones)! thanks for your patience.

until then, i can't wait to see this movie and so i thought i'd share it with you...

{on keeping sane}

so lately...its been really hard to keep myself sane. i swear that any moment now i could fall off the deep end and never return from the great abyss...well...not really, but you get the point. with packing, and just living, things can get a little out of hand... so i am always seeking out ways to make the little things in life seem more than routine, more on purpose i guess. i came across this blog today and i thought - that is just what i needed. a pick me up!

Rudyard Kipling once said, “Delight in the little things” and that is just what guest blogger Kimberly said over at WishStudio ...

"Ooze creativity. Write your to-dos with a sparkly pink pen. Use colorful, die cut post-its over yellow squares. Create a blog or podcast to share your work with others. Use colorful file folders. Write your goals on colorful note cards to hang on a polka dot ribbon from your corkboard or wall. Choose a different route to work, savor the change of scenery. Spend your lunch hour reading or writing for fun. Listen to a different genre of music. Stay up very late or get up way early. Make up a new-to-you yoga sequence. Choose bubbly over bland. Sign up for a crash course in sewing, knitting, hip hop, soap making, or public speaking. Go on a hike. Gaze at the stars. Slurp the whipped cream off your hot cocoa. Take a mini-vacation with journal, sketchbook, or camera in hand to your local park, museum, or botanical gardens. Do things differently."

ahh...sometimes you just need a good ole stay-cation from the everyday.

and because a post is always better with a picture...look how big my baby has gotten...

{moving}

so its offical...we are moving...not far though. just back into grovetown. although we love our little house on the hampton in downtown augusta soooooo much, its just not economical for us right now. so - we are taking the plunge and downsizing a little while we still can and while its available to us! we are excited to start this new little stage of our life that we like to call - "Paying it off!" thats right paying off everything. student loans, credit cards, and cars - paying them off! we are gonna try our level best to live simply - even if it kills us! so we are moving into the "Paying it off" stage so that one day - we can move into the next stage - yet to be determined. :)
if you happen to know anyone looking for a great little two bedroom house here in augusta - please let us know and you can come by and see it! its got a sweet backyard and screened in porch. its perfect for a little family. pass the word so we can take care of our amazing landlord!
